As an Assistant Project Manager at Arup, you will support the Project Manager to: Support the day-to-day management of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality. Build trust with clients through clear and effective communication, ensuring their needs are met. Coordinate tasks and monitor project progress, preparing reports, schedules, and records to ensure alignment with project goals. Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions and presentations, working closely with senior team members. Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, fostering a culture of teamwork and success. To succeed in this role, you'll need: A degree in architecture, civil or building engineering, or a similar technical background. Fluent Italian and English language skills (written and spoken). 2-3 years of experience in construction projects. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills, including preparing formal and informal presentations and written reports. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD. The ability to analyse project data independently and report results effectively. A proactive approach to developing and maintaining successful client and team relationships. Availability to travel within Europe. Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) detailed design. A strong interest or understanding of sustainability themes in design and construction.
