Assistant Store Manager

Reporting to the Store Manager, he/she will act as Ambassador of the Stella McCartney Brand, supporting in inspiring and developing a diverse team to successfully reach quantitative and qualitative targets by providing a unique in-store experience to the clientele.
He/she will contribute to the achievement of store target and the growth of business following concrete actions in line with the Brand Strategy.
In this role you will act as a leader in the store, supporting the Store Manager in the development of the total satisfaction among clientele and the optimum profitability of the store.
Main responsibilities:
Sales Performance Achievement:
- Contribute to the achievement of the annual sales targets/budget/forecast in accordance with the guidelines received by the Store Manager
- Analyze and monitor KPI'S on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and supporting the Store Manager in setting the individual objectives to the team
- Guarantee financial results of the store through effective management and monitoring of margins, stock, product launches in store and personnel costs
- Support the Store Manager in monitoring all store expenses and cost to reach positive contribution and budget objectives providing follow up, suggestion and action for improvement
- Partner with the Store Manager in analyzing the store's turnover, merchandise, stock availability and sell through results
- Develop and implement business action plans in collaboration with the Store Manager to enhance sales for each product category and client tiers
- Support the Store Manager in driving the team and ensure up selling and cross selling techniques are mastered
Team Management:
- Develops a strong personal leadership style that encourages people to follow and give their best
- Monitor individual performance through KPI'S on a daily, weekly and monthly One2One meeting following the Store Manager instruction and target set
- Assist in training and development of the sales consultants in order to achieve best business results
- Support the Induction plan to the new staff and collaborate with constant in-store training to all team (brand, product, VM, seasonal update)
- Playing an active role on the selling Floor in accordance to the Stella McCartney Customer Experience and provide feedback to the Store Manager on the store staff execution of the training program to achieve the best quantitative and qualitative business results
- Guarantee the team complying with Grooming Standards
- Support the Store Manager on daily morning meeting to update staff on business performance, trends and relevant updates
- Promote a positive and professional team environment that fosters trust, integrity and superior performance standards, leading by example
- Participate in recruitment, evaluation and retaining a high performing team
- In accordance with the Store Manager, ensure the appropriate staff plan and coverage in the store by providing sufficient time management and efficient coverage instore in line with the traffic (ex.
holiday plan)
Clients Management:
- Participating in promoting and development of stores external relations, partner with management to promote brand awareness, establish market/store presence, and capture competitive market share through community outreach and company sponsored events
- Proactively follow current fashion trends, industry news, technology, and key competitors in the market Capture meaningful client data for the purpose of building relationships to personalize prospect client development opportunities
- Monitor the monthly Client Management database and reporting
- Proactively seeking out opportunities that benefit the store performance, pioneering and trialing initiatives in conjunction with the Brand
- Act as the Ambassador for the brand within the market
- Supervise sales to ensure client Stella McCartney clients are receiving a unique experience and satisfaction in line with Brand guidelines
- Demonstrate sales leadership by having an active role on the selling floor through client engagement and ensuring highest level of in store experience is provided and mystery shop goals are met
- Lead the team on executing amazing customer service and after sales experience, to increase and retain customer loyalty
Operations maintenance:
- Guarantee the image of the store and the people at the highest standard at any time according to the Company guidelines
- Supervise the implementation of the visual merchandising guidelines in accordance to the VM corporate Dept ensuring the correct installation, product display and instore merchandising
- Supervise maintenance of store and report any action requirements to the Store Manager
- Control health, safety and security regulations are duly accomplished: ongoing control of store security and compliance
