Job Summary:
Rossignol Group is looking for a retail leader to work alongside the Store Manager to support all operations of the Rossignol store in Castel Romano – Roma Italy. If you have strong retail experience and want to be a part of Rossignol's new and growing retail channel, we encourage you to apply.
The role supports the Store Manager in driving an innovative, exceptional customer experience, in an effort to operate sales profitably. The Store Assistant Manager supports the overall management tasks of the store, staff, inventory, and customer service.
The Assistant Manager is willing to inspire their team and colleagues. They have the ability to motivate people with a dynamic work approach. They are business-oriented and result-driven.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for proper planning ensuring appropriate staffing levels, associate supervision, coaching, and providing clear direction on overall merchandising standards, stocking, and customer service expectations.
Point of contact when Store Manager is not on-site.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Assess the effectiveness of the team and provide the appropriate level of coaching performance feedback.
Conduct sales and inventory management.
Assist Associate Store Manager with on-the-job training to new employees and operational tasks.
Have a passion for delivering exceptional service every day and inspire by example.
Create an inspiring shopping environment through effective merchandising capability, high in-store standards, and compelling visual presentation.
Responsible for opening and closing procedures.
Ensure desired brand experience is being fostered in store through individual and team customer interactions.
Keep store running smoothly by executing weekly and monthly business rhythms and tasks.
Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.
Keep store looking optimal by upholding visual merchandising standards.
Maintain positive employee relations and open lines of communication throughout the store.
Qualifications:
3+ years of retail experience and operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, staff scheduling, inventory control, and loss prevention.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays.
Fluency in English.
