About the RoleThe primary purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day operation of the club, ensuring an exceptional experience for all members. Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the General Manager to implement strategies that drive club targets, EBITDAR, and member satisfaction. Act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for maintaining a smooth operation of the club, ensuring health and safety regulations are met, and delivering excellent member experiences. Deputise for the General Manager during absences or agreed projects, working opposing shifts to maximize senior leadership across the club. Collaborate with other Heads of Department, promoting DL Clubs' ways of operating and legislation at all times. Take overall responsibility for managing the Health & Safety Reception team, Cleaning team, and Club Administrator, ensuring effective financial control, labour scheduling, and adherence to DL Clubs' standards. Leadership and ServiceLead by example, inspiring teams to deliver outstanding service.

Develop successful partnerships with third-party contractors and suppliers, maintaining high standards consistently. Measurement and EvaluationRole model a lead management role in the delivery of day-to-day operations. Demonstrate individual personal objectives set by the General Manager. Ongoing observation of team performance against key metrics and KPIs, including customer satisfaction, usage penetration, and revenue growth. Contribution to the club's profit and loss performance, member participation, and count. Qualifications and RequirementsA minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month and at least one late shift per week are required.

Essential qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths.

Desirable experience includes team management in a service-led facility, financial planning, and a passion for customer service. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and adaptability.
