We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher ("assegno di ricerca") for the "MISO In-Situ Observation Platform" project, funded by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) under the HORIZON-CL6-2022-GOVERNANCE-01 program: Project Link. Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be working on the data analysis and the development of algorithms and calibration models for a low-cost sensor network.

They will work as part of an international team to establish a stationary observatory capable of accurately detecting and measuring CO2 and methane concentrations in remote permafrost and wetland areas, utilizing advanced nondispersive infrared GHG sensors.

Additionally, the role involves contributing to the creation of a weather-resilient observatory designed for independent operation, supported by drones, and capable of transmitting data through cloud-based technology. Skills:Essential experience and skills:PhD degree and 2 years of experience. Strong computational and statistical skills with expertise in databases and time series. Proficiency in programming languages (e. g. , R, Python). Experience with independent fieldwork. Proficient communication skills. Excellent English skills - written and spoken.
