The team

Established in 2000, our Milan office provides a wide range of transactional and regulatory advice to national and multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies and private equity funds, as well as entrepreneurs across many sectors.

We assist on all aspects of banking and finance, from corporate lending and debt restructuring, to banking regulation, to complex, large-value and cross border project financings to international export credit and trade finance.

We are active on both the borrowers' and lenders' side of financing transactions.

Our team is well-known for advising on projects of all sizes in the energy, infrastructure and transport sectors.

We advise on projects in Italy and around the world and have a 360° perspective of the positions that different parties involved in a project may adopt.

The distinguishing aspect of our practice is that we have Italy-qualified and UK-qualified banking and finance and projects lawyers based in Milan.

They work hand-in-hand with our global banking and finance projects groups.

Our energy and infrastructure group is recognised as one of the leading energy teams in Italy.

**The Role

- 3 - 6 years PQE gained within a reputable banking and finance / project finance practice

- Assisting in project delivery advice

- Working on a range of specialist financing matters including export credit finance, international trade finance and general corporate loans

- Advising on the development and financing of renewable energy and infrastructure projects both in Italy and abroad

- Direct client management, with extensive client interaction across different time zones

- Assisting with business development, knowledge and marketing initiatives including keeping up to date with recent court decisions and market intelligence for the energy and infrastructure industries.

He/she would be energetic, driven and focused individual with exceptional academic achievements and a capacity to deliver quality advice accurately and efficiently.

**Skills and Experience Required

- Avvocato, qualified in Italy

- Fluent in English is a must; good knowledge of a third language is a plus

- Passion for client service

- Strong client liaison skills

- Demonstrated experience dealing with complex transactions

- Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical and drafting skills
