We are looking for an Associate Counsel (Employment Law) with a focus on Italy and Spain to join our growing Legal team in EMEA.

This international legal position is full time and a remote position.

**RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review and draft complex and general employment law agreements (including confidentiality, IP rights, non-solicitation, bonus arrangements) with a main focus on the following countries: Italy and Spain. Work closely with individual departments to anticipate, identify and manage compliance matters, legal exposure and risk management, and provide legal support and advice to individual departments.

- Work closely with the relevant departments and provide legal advice in the process of maintaining local entities in the focus countries and within EMEA.

- Provide analysis and guidance on projects across diverse areas of International employment matters, based on legislative or regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate the activities of outside counsels in different countries.

- Focus on other countries and perform other key duties as may be required by the General Counsel (EMEA) from time to time.

**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

- Business proficiency in the English language is required, Italian is a plus

- Demonstrate experience with handling multiple cases at the same time, service-orientated quick turnarounds, project management, and providing practical compliant solutions

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent analytical skills; capable of identifying and prioritizing issues and escalating where appropriate

- High level of personal integrity and professional ethics.

- Experience with Employer of Record (EoR) is a plus

- Adaptable and flexible - able to juggle between and deliver up on variation of tasks, ready for a challenge

- Masters/Law degree from a university in Europe with a focus on employment law, preferable obtained in one of the focus countries (Italy or Spain)
