Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors.

TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.

Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel.

Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

Associate Director, Business Finance

In this high impact role, you will lead decision-making support and financial planning and analysis for clinical, product development, and operations initiatives across the world.

In addition, this role will support planning efforts for clinical strategy in new indications, oversee business cases for new trials and new products, deliver financial insights, and provide actionable management reporting.

To achieve this, you will be working closely with key stakeholders across the executive, clinical, product development, and operation teams.

As a senior leader, a team of professionals responsible for coordinating and facilitating corporate planning processes, monitoring financial performance, reporting financial and operational results, and improving financial results, will also support you.

Your responsibilities:

Serve as a senior advisor to the executive, clinical, product development, and operations leadership in areas related to resource allocation, value generation, and financial execution

Lead the business finance teams for our development businesses, ensuring business finance has a presence at decision making table and isadding value to strategic and operational decisions

Connect long term strategy to current operational activities

Lead financial planning efforts for clinical strategy, including be a key member of decision making committees for future trials

Complete business case development for new products

Work closely with Business Development to complete business cases for new opportunities

Manage core financial and planning analysis efforts for the clinical, preclinical, product development, and operations team, including:

Budget and forecast preparation and tracking

Monitor financial performance

Financial reporting to management and board

Financial analysis to target improvements in our development areas

Develop management reports that provide the right information to the right people to drive performance to meet objectives

Lead development and maintenance of financial forecasting models

Support development of integrated business planning and reporting tool and automation of standard processes wherever possible

Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management

Your profile:

B. S.

or Masters Degree in Finance or LifeScience / Medical fields.

Preferably 7+ years experience in Healthcare.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Superior analytical skills

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Detail-oriented, highly organized, resourceful and resilient

Demonstrated ability to maintain focus on key priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts

Demonstrated ability to leverage technology

High proficiency in English is a must, any other languages would be an advantage.
