Cumming Management Group, a Cost and Project Management Consultancy within the construction industry, provides a wide range of services to clients spanning several different sectors.

Cumming Management Group is seeking to recruit an Associate Director in Milan.

The role will have responsibility for a number of key clients and be expected to develop excellent long-term relationships while ensuring the provision of a quality service.

As an Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:

Lead service delivery with existing key clients, maintaining and strengthening client relationships and using opportunities to cross-sell.

Develop our business; networking and developing client relationships.

Support the development of a long-term strategy and vision for the success and growth of the Company within the area of responsibility.

Develop expertise across the wide range of disciplines within the area of responsibility.

Liaising with other sector leads and offices to create new opportunities.

Support the implementation of strategic initiatives at service and sector level.

Support delivering growth in turnover and profits with target clients.

Strengthen our service delivery capability and promote knowledge capture, sharing, and innovation.

Support the recruiting, developing, and leading a team towards achievement of the long-term strategy.

Project manage new bids including resource planning and fee proposals for Senior Director approval.

Ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place during the bidding and delivery phases of projects.

Ensure project fees and budgets are adhered to, with robust contract and project change control processes.

Assist in the resolution of any disputes including the recovery of outstanding fees that are due.

Manage the delivery of work through proactive involvement and performance management of personnel.

Provide leadership to the staff, resolve conflicts of priorities and personalities, and mentor team members.

Ensure communication is clear with staff understanding key priorities and practice goals.

Ensure staff have current and relevant training and approve training plans.

Ensure service delivery is in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice, particularly Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.

Ensure compliance with client's corporate governance procedures where applicable.

Manage office and country administrative activities, seeking approval from the Senior Director where necessary.

Qualifications & Skills: Ideally degree qualified: construction, cost management, architecture, engineering or quantity surveying.

MRICS / other equivalent recognized qualification or professional body.

A minimum of 10 years in hospitality experience is essential.

Experience in Luxury Hospitality is desirable.

Strong core technical and commercial skills.

Strong interpersonal and team building skills.

Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.

Strong oral and written communication skills in Italian and English.

Experience of managing people and delivering multiple or complex projects.

Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters.

Good relationships with the Real Estate market.
