THE SEARCH: Altus Partners are exclusively mandated by a leading mid-market focused private equity fund who are looking to add an additional Italian-speaking Associate Director / Investment Manager to be based in Milan. The fund invests in a variety sectors including Industrials, Technology and Healthcare, often taking a buy-and-build approach to promote inorganic growth alongside a hands-on value creation strategy to promote organic growth. You will be part of a lean team, therefore the role is suited to an experienced investment professional who is looking to have significant responsibility and influence in how the portfolio expands in Italy over time. ? THE ROLE: Responsibility across origination, deal execution and portfolio management. Supporting strategic initiatives to grow the business within the Italian market. Represent the fund at investor meetings. Collaborate with international offices on cross-border opportunities. ? THE REQUIREMENTS: 5-9 years total experience across investment banking, consulting and/or private equity, with at least 2 years in an investment role Native Italian speaker, fluency in Spanish would be considered a plus but not essential. Strong modelling ability and high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication skills.
