Your Mission: Glovo keeps growing day after day, that's why we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Legal Associate Director that will work with Glovo's Italian and HQ Legal Team being part of the Italian leadership team. Be a part of a team where you will: Manage a local team of 4 people. Evaluate the risks associated with the business model and ensure appropriate procedures to mitigate them are implemented balancing business needs. Assist the operations department in adapting the business model to local regulations. Take a strategic and medium/long term view of risk and compliance with commercial and antitrust regulations creating awareness on the best practices among Glovo employees. Act on compliance initiatives related to Leg Decree 231/01, attend Supervisory Board Committee, back on track mitigation plans and support on internal audits with relevant stakeholders. Escalate critical matters to senior management. Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it. What You Will Bring to the Ride: At least 10/12 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm. Law Bachelor Degree, with a master in Business Law preferable. Native Italian and excellent English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus (Spanish preferably). A 360º proven expertise / knowledge of corporate governance, commercial and antitrust, labour law and compliance. Expertise in analysis and implementation of strategy balancing business needs. Leadership and excellent people management skills. Proven ability to work and lead cross-functional teams in a multinational context. Proven experience working with senior management. Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, high impactful scope, results-oriented, fast execution. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
