About the role Supporting various functional teams within IT to perform IT related tasks. Responsible for work that is less defined in scope but has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to provide high levels of customer service, with proven experience resolving technical issues within a corporate computing environment.
You will also:
Proactively and independently provide support for 2nd and 3rd level incidents for desktop and enterprise applications globally in a timely and professional manner. Maintain and document technical solutions for hardware upgrades, disposal, loaner systems, asset inventory, software inventory, remote imaging, new hire setup, termination, relocation, remote or automated updates, and remote support. Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up for software and hardware problems in a timely manner on their own or knows who to engage and when. Know when to escalate appropriately. Build and maintain relationships with customers and third-party vendors to ensure appropriate and agreed services are delivered. Ensure all IT policies, processes, and service level agreement commitments are upheld. Build a plan and take ownership for the plan to drive it to completion to integrate acquisitions into the Aptean IT environment on time and to quality expectations. Identify any patterns or issues or lessons learned and proactively share them with the appropriate parties to build them into future acquisition planning. Due to their knowledge and core values alignment, be recognized as the go-to person for complex technical or client escalations on the team. Serve as a coach and mentor for more junior team members. Recommend and develop training sessions for knowledge sharing within the team. Provide feedback and seek out ways to help them develop and apply their skills/knowledge. About you Ability to communicate with clients and staff clearly and effectively. Windows 10 desktop support, installation, and troubleshooting. Email setup, configuration, and support for smartphones, tablets, and workstations. Printer installation and support. Microsoft Office/Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. ) installation and support. Understanding of TCP/IP Networking. If you share our mindset, you can share in our success.
