ASSOCIATE LEARNING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Operations Center Milan
OPERATIONS
LEARNING
- Detects and organizes legislative or other face-to-face training, coordinating all the documentation to obtain the applicable subsidy
- Detects training needs and send feedback to HRHS for its consideration in drawing up the annual training budget.
- Promotes the use of emelia and ensures compliance with mandatory trainings.
- Executes the annual training plan of the hotels and coordinates calls, documentation, organization and other needs for their correct development.
- Organize inductions, coordinating with teams the assistance and periodic realization of new employees.
- Provides the necessary training actions to ensure the training of employees and HoDs.
Transfers specific training needs to HRHS (Human Resources Hotel Services) for design or adaptation.
- Carries out the negotiation and proposal of suppliers and local agreements in coordination with HRHS
- Is informed and updated on market trends and benchmarks of other companies in the compset
- Collects and registers Learning KPIs
TALENT DEVELOPMENT
- Together with the HR Manager, supports and executes the internal talent identification process of the OC hotels based on the guidelines, tools and defined campaigns.
- Talent mapping; ensures the entry into the database periodically
- Ensures the correct implementation and execution of all the development plans of its hotels (PDP; JTP), ensuring the correct monitoring of the mentor / participant and offering detailed feedback to the team of specialists for the improvement and prioritization of the plans.
- Carries out an identification of development needs in critical groups.
- Leads the identification process of internal talent of the hotels according to guidelines, tools and defined campaigns.
- Is informed and updated on market trends and benchmarks of other companies in the compset
- Collects and registers Development KPIs
OPENINGS
Once the handover of the opening has been carried out by the HR Partner, it executes all the tasks corresponding to the preopening phase of the hotel in the Learning & Talent Development area, following the guidelines provided by Operations and HRHS.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Plans, manages and coordinates all training programs in prevention and healthy work environment with the external company, as well as their registration and filing.
ECONOMIC-FINANCIAL
- Be knowledgeable of their department's budget
- Support the head of department in the preparation of projections.
- Is knowledgeable of the economic results of the hotel and the economic results of their department, as well as the deviations vs. budget/projection.
- Ensure the fulfilment of the economic goals established in the department and being aware of the economic goals of the hotel, as well as their fulfilment.
- Support the head of department in the placing of orders following the established procedure, as well as in the control of materials and services.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Ensure the customer's experience and personalise their stay, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Manage customer incidents, communicating the actions taken to the hotel's Guest Experience Department.
- Be knowledgeable and share with the team the objectives of the Voice of the Customer and to ensure their fulfilment, supporting in the creation and definition of improvement plans if necessary.
- Be knowledgeable with the Sensory Architecture established for their areas and ensure compliance with it.
- Be knowledgeable of the hotel's services and facilities as well as the entertainment programme, experiences and events, ensuring that the team has all the information to be able to promote them to guests.
HEALTH & SAFETY// HEALTHY WORKPLACE
- Be knowledgeable of the hotel's evacuation plan.
- Support in the responsibilities assigned to them in the Centre's Self-Protection Manual or local equivalent in other countries.
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Procedures and Instructions.
- Be knowledgeable of the individual protection equipment of the department and to support in its correct implementation and use by means of the corresponding training actions.
**Requirements**:
- At least 4/5 years of experince in the role in Hospitality/Hotellerie sector
- Strong interpersonal and management skills
- Leadership and problem solving
- Italian native speaker and good knowledge of English and Spanish will be a plus
