About the business unit
The EMEA Marketing team at BlackRock is responsible for setting the strategic direction and implementing marketing plans for all client businesses in Europe.
It is the responsibility of this team to raise brand awareness and drive preference of our investment capabilities, including analyzing the return on investment to inform and evolve future activities; developing and implementing the marketing strategy for BlackRock, iShares and Aladdin Wealth across the region.
About the role
This individual will be working with other members of the marketing team in Italy to support all business lines and client segments from a digital marketing perspective focusing on creating digital experiences ensuring connectivity with business, branding & communication outcomes and delivering against marketing's objectives and plan.
The Italian BlackRock marketing department, based in Milan, is responsible for all marketing and communication activities within Italy across all client segments (Wealth and Digital Distribution, Wholesale and Institutional) and product segments and platforms (iShares, Alpha platform, Private Markets and Aladdin Wealth) for BlackRock, iShares by BlackRock and Aladdin Wealth.
This team works closely with the central marketing teams in Budapest, London and New York as well as local agencies.
The Head of Marketing for Italy reports into the Continental Europe CMO in Frankfurth.
ROLE PROFILE
Overview of the Key Responsibilities:
- Support all digital activities across all client segments
- Be the Site Manager for all our corporate website and the local iShares site Own the digital calendar, planning and monitoring the Italian digital activities, working in collaboration with the other marketing team members
- Acts as liaison to broader organization (marketing, sales) establishing ongoing communication in order to ensure all digital actions and contents are as relevant as possible
- Maintain local wealth digital platform, liasing with external vendors and implementing a set of standard analysis on key stats (by client/campaign, Asset class, )
- Audit and optimise web content with regards to SEO and SEM to maximize traffic and conversion through core digital marketing tactics working with our internal teams and agencies
- Ensure onboarding programs of new contacts, collaborating also with the central CRM team
- Support the development and implementation of client-specific marketing campaigns, including dedicated microsites, collaborating also with agencies and other vendor partners
- Assist in developing effective display campaigns, including banner ads, and retargeting
- Contribute to deliver, in collaboration with the other team members and external vendors, digital events (eg.
webinars, events in streaming)
- Act as project manager of specific projects (i. e. , Artificial Intelligence, Metaverse ) working collaboratively with the other team members and external agencies
- Monitor and track performance for regular and ad-hoc reporting (e. g.
with Adobe Analytics, other standard tools and internal tools) in collaboration with central teams and local vendors.
- Provide insights and recommendations for areas of opportunity and improvement across all digital channels, take follow up actions to increase performances testing also new formats/programs
- ensure full compliance of digital properties with legal, regulatory, and privacy requirementsReview digital materials for accuracy and timeliness of contents on proprietary and third parties web sites

- Manage the proprietary digital ecosystem (BlackRock Advisor Elite), which includes a dedicated website for the wealth segment, a mobile app, and a smaller website aimed to the wholesale segment.
- Manage the relationship with L&C, Privacy team to ensure full the platform is fully compliant from regulatory, privacy and legal and compliance standpoint.
- Manage the relationship and be the project manager for the external vendors in particular the one dedicated to the local digital ecosystem and video broadcasting.
