Description For our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba (Roma), we are looking for a Control System Engineer acting as a junior team member for project engineering tasks in system integration solutions - configuration of SCADA and RTU, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities:

Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments;Ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.

Improve effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions;Ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements;Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background:

A bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Automation Control Engineering. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAS/SCADA domain. Good knowledge of both Italian and English (B2/C1);Proactivity, team working, and problem-solving skills;Knowledge of substation automation systems, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Gateways will be a key differentiator. Knowledge of SCADA application and protocols such as Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, proven ability to handle customer comments and approval responses to support the project manager in project engineering is a must. Knowledge of Control and Protection relays and solutions for High and Medium voltage switchgears is desirable. Knowledge of ICT Security. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Javascript.
