**Job Description**:
We are looking for an ambitious & driven Associate Sales Director to join our YouGov team in Milan.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic sales team to drive our continued organic and strategic growth.
- Responsibilities include managing and leading the sales staff as well as managing selected key accounts.
- Accountable for the team sales target (new business and account management)
- Be fully aware of opportunities and the sales pipeline and any risks/red-flags with revenue and clients highlighted
- Plan and execute the YouGov sales strategy in agreement with the General Manager.
- Prepare and independently manage client meetings
- Write and review quotation covering all client requirements including research methods, research design and pricing and pitch the proposal to the client
- Identify and segment different client groups by type, e. g.
sectors/geographies for new leads; map the identified client group and take in relevant YouGov knowledge, products and services
- Be fully up-to-date with the (ever evolving) YouGov offer at a level of detail which will enable meaningful conversations with clients, whatever the requirement; be able to demo our tools
- Represent YouGov at customer events, exhibitions or conferences
- Ensure client satisfaction and to represent YouGov Italy in a professional and ethical manner at all times
**Qualifications**:
- 8-10 years' experience in Sales, preferably in the market research industry.
- Proven team management skills and ability to handle high pressure situations and multi-task
- Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation, and organization skills of utmost importance
- A strong leader and a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with client stakeholders), EN/IT
- Problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
