We have a worldwide presence with sales to ~150 countries and around 17 000 employees. About the teamWe at Yara are part of a global network, collaborating to solve profitably and responsibly some of the world's key challenges - resource scarcity, food insecurity, and environmental change.

Whilst the focus of the unit is to deliver software solutions to farmers and partners all around the globe, this team's focus is to enable and empower the software engineering teams across the unit to allow them to scale without frictions with the infrastructure and the services configurations that they need to keep their services up and running.

Whilst there are many PaaS out there, we as a corporation must be agnostic to outside vendors as well as compliant with our internal and strict ethics, security, and business continuity policies.

With this in mind we chose to build our multi-cloud platform on top of Kubernetes, which allows us to grow our automation and self-service offerings building everything from Developer Portal to custom Kubernetes Resources when needed to provide, secure, monitor and customize external cloud resources, such as databases, storage, topics/queues and much more.

Influencing the creation of a world-class multi-cloud platform that will make the developer experience within Yara even better than it is today Working closely with other developers all over Yara Crop and Digital Solution's unit to make sure the platform adheres to their day-to-day needs, that it is easy to use, that is well documented, robust, secure, and that it is scalable to meet the business needs Participating in the support of the platform (this is not a 24/7 kind of support) so that you are aware of the pain points the developers are facing and provide solutions on how to overcome them.

What you will bring Practical knowledge in one of the two main languages we use here Python and GoLang Practical knowledge with relational databases (e. g.

PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (e. g.

MongoDB) Experience or willingness to learn about the platform, continuous deployment, and automation technologies such as Kubernetes, CircleCI, and Terraform Knowledge or willingness to learn about automated software testing (unit and integration) Knowledge of the modern, large scale software projects:

source code control with Git, APIs, cloud platforms, automated testing, continuous integration, documentation You are comfortable working with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Willingness to work in a cross-functional, distributed, and diverse team is a plus You are:
