Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Engineer for a client in the Florence, SC area. This position will primarily support the Engineering department. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, drafting in AutoCAD, assisting with projects, etc. This is a contract position with a reputable company.

Responsibilities: Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and build details for the design of electric substations. Drafting support using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. Creating routings for new/revised materials for entry into SAP. Assist in managing projects for production development, design criteria, and product improvement. Collaborating with designers, engineers, and technicians. Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data relating to Engineering-sponsored projects, including prototype builds, new products, and new process introduction. Provide technical assistance, as needed, to Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and other members of the team. Qualifications: Two-year degree or equivalent certification or two years of experience in design engineering or design-related engineering, proven work history of AutoCAD/Drafting/SolidWorks knowledge and exposure, and above-average computer skills in Microsoft Office Software.
