Automation Sales Specialist
Introduction
Automation Sales Specialist is a Brand sales role with focus on Automation, Business Automation and IT Automation Software Products.
He/she will be accountable for achieving his/her sales targets by generating an healthy pipeline of opportunities and progressing them to closure.
**Your Role and Responsibilities
As part of a large software sales team, the Automation sales specialist will be responsible for championing the sales efforts with clients in the area of Automation and its components like: Business Process Management, Decision Management, Content and Document Management, RPA and Process Mining, Application Integration and Platform, DevOps, AIOps.
This Role will Include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- understand Automation trends and topics
- understand the solutions sold and show ability to articulate their value to customers
- achieve quarterly sales targets by working collaboratively with the extended sales team - perform the following sales activities: prospecting, meeting with clients, delivering demonstrations and/or proof of technology, establishing strong relationships with Clients, ultimately progressing opportunities to closure
- utilize with proficiency all IBM sales and reporting tools
- Ensure the highest client satisfaction and 100% deployment rate
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of selling Automation solutions in areas like: Business Process Management, Decision Management, Content and Document Management, RPA and Process Mining, Application Integration and Platform, DevOps, AIOps.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales quota.
- Industry knowledge of the Automation market
- Good technical understanding of the following enterprise domains: Business Process Management, Decision Management, Content and Document Management, RPA and Process Mining, Application Integration and Platform, DevOps, AIOps.
- Establish client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics directly to near and long-term business goals
- Ability to develop client relationships at C-level
- Working experience with business partners, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Working experience on IBM Automation tools and Solutions.
- Expertise in selling SaaS
- Any Industry knowledge
