SABAF S. p. A. , leading company in manufactoring and distribution of components for the domestic and professional appliances sector, is seeking qualified candidates for an Automation Software Developer position.

Job Responsibilities The Automation Software Developer will be responsible for analysis, design, development and testing of software projects for automation machines.

He will be included in a structured team and he will work side by side with the mechanical and electrical design team.

In this role, the candidate will: assist the project team in the drafting of the operating specifications of the machine; assist the hardware team in the configuration of the control hardware; develop the control software in compliance with the control specifications and guidelines of the mechanical department; develop HMI and SCADA software in compliance with project specifications and the guidelines of the mechanical department; conduct the testing of the control systems; participate in the commissioning of the plant; support in the assistance of the plants; participate in software maintenance.

Competence Requirements Degree/High-school Diploma in technical subjects (electrical / electronic or similar); knowledge of PLC SW development tool such as Automation Studio, Siemens S7, Schneider; knowledge of HMI and SCADA SW development tool such as Visual Studio; experience in SW development in C++, AWL, ST; basics on reading electrical diagrams; knowledge of Office suite; good knowledge of English language; aptitude for problem solving, ability to work in team and predisposition to innovation; previous work experience as a Software Developer, or similar role, in the industrial sector will be considered as a plus.
