We are seeking a detail-oriented Audio Visual Installer to join our growing integration team.

Objective: To provide excellent quality of installation & customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time and within budget. Summary of Position:The Technician is responsible for installing and servicing products at the customer's job site.
Organizing supplies, products and transportation of high value equipment to job site. Responsibilities:Projector, flat panel, screen installation and calibrationThe management of van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearanceMeet with project manager to ensure timeline and expectations. Communicate effectively with and take direction from Lead Technicians and Project ManagerReview sales order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipmentClarify final placement of key components with communication from PM or customerTrim out speakers, CAT5/6, coax and camera placementsInstallation of in-ceiling/in-wall speaker installationInstall/Setup home and light business network systemsSet up, pre-configure and program networks, control systems, cameras and NVRsGuardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home securityCommunicate with Project Manager on schedule and expected completion datesDaily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management softwareAccurate time clock entries and job costingMake decisions and be held accountable to Time and MaterialsOn call rotation may be requiredLocal travel to job sites requiredFiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Technician's careCustomer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customersQualifications:The Technician must possess an understanding of all systems including audio, video, security, lighting and integration of all installed brands.
Must be able to read house plans and other job site related documentation.
Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards.
Troubleshooting skills are essential.
Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in in-house job management software.
Attention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement & system wiring. Additional Requirements:Flexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hoursMust be able to lift and carry 60lbsMay require standing or stooping for extended periodsAbility to work in tight spaces & at ladder heightValid driver's license, clean driving record, and criminal backgroundSecurity license or experience preferredWe are a smoke, alcohol and drug free environment.
