As a result of our growth, we are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our R&D department StockSparK tribe based in Milan.

The Role:

The Backend Engineer will:

Develop and deliver robust, maintainable backend solutions. Collaborate closely with product owners and other developers to deliver incremental value. Understand and address business needs through effective coding practices. Lead and assist in testing procedures, working closely with QA Engineers. Contribute to architectural discussions and solutions. Requirements:

Extensive expertise in OOP in a Java environment. PHP, Python, Node, and other general-purpose programming languages are beneficial. Comfortable working across multiple platforms and environments. Demonstrate a mindset of delivering secure, well-tested, and well-documented software. Experience with deploying complex applications on cloud platforms using a container orchestration platform, such as Kubernetes. Prefers simple solutions and designs over complex ones, with a good intuition for what will last and scale. Solid engineering fundamentals (CS degree a plus). #J-18808-Ljbffr
