Your main responsibilities will be the following: Writing maintainable and efficient code leveraging software engineering best practices Using your knowledge for maintaining our core PHP monolith (bug fixing, feature requests, etc. ) but also help us migrate various features to our microservices-based systems (powered by Node. js) Contribute to improving our internal development and testing processes Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Requirements Proven work experience as a developer on apps running in production Solid knowledge and experience with PHP (2+ years) Work experience with at least one PHP framework (preferably Symfony) Work experience with relational databases (MySQL) and Object-Relational Mapping libraries (preferably Doctrine) Ability to work comfortably on refactoring and maintaining legacy applications Hands-on experience with integrating external systems (through REST APIs) Knowledge of version control tools (Git) Excellent communication skills: good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory as we are an international team Experience in writing modern JavaScript (ES6) General front-end knowledge (HTML5, CSS3) and related frameworks (ideally Vue. js) Working experience with Node. js, TypeScript, Go or Python Nice-to-have Experience with managing services on a cloud computing provider (e. g. AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with serverless computing and related platforms (e. g.
