Job DescriptionJob Number:Banqueting Maitre (HOT0B2DS)Work LocationsWaldorf Astoria Rome CavalieriVia Alberto Cadlolo 101Rome 136A Banqueting Maitre is responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of banquets and events, ensuring a high level of service, guest satisfaction, and seamless Food & Drinks operations. What will I be doing? As a Banqueting Maitre, you are responsible for supervising the meeting rooms' set ups and ensuring all Food & Drinks working areas are kept clean and tidy to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

A Banqueting Maitre will also be required to be able to work in all areas of Food and Beverage.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Supervising meeting and event rooms set upsEnsure compliance of brand standardsKnowledge of menu content, menu changes, and promotional activitiesEnsure the Conference and Banqueting areas are kept clean and tidyEnsure Refreshment breaks are served at the correct timesAble to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and EventsWelcome guests in a polite and friendly mannerFollow cash handling procedures and ensure guests are billed accuratelyManage guest queries in a timely and efficient mannerComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislationComply with local licensing lawsBe environmentally awareWhat are we looking for?
