Be as proud to belong to Meliá as we are of you. Mission: Oversee the banquet event and ensure that the banquet staff complies with all service standards and department policies. Act as the single point of contact with the event host or meeting planner during the event function. What will you be doing? Oversee catering services operations, inside and outside the company. Ensure that event venues are visually appealing and present the menu offer for events. Execute all instructions and work assigned to them by their immediate superior, as well as any responsibilities that their position requires. Be knowledgeable of the department's economic performance. Be knowledgeable of the economic goals of the hotel and their department, as well as their fulfilment. Be knowledgeable of the Brand philosophy, implementing the standards, operational and identity manuals that apply to their department. Ensure the customer's experience and personalise their stay, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations. What are we looking for? Fluent in Italian and knowledge of English. Knowledge of hygienic food handling. Knowledge of different types of set ups and services. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Management of work teams. Excellent organizational skills and ability to find solutions. Enjoy being part of a team. Flexibility and enthusiasm are key for this position.
