Bar Host/Hostess - The Gritti Palace, Venice - Season 2025
The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Bar Host/Hostess.
The Bar Host/Hostess will report to the Bar Manager and she/he will be part of a F&B department.
Seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week, 5 working days, 2 consecutive days off).
Period: April – October 2025

Ensure guests are welcomed in a warm and professional manner and supervise the entrance of the Bar.
Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; placing clean/current menu in front of guest. Supply guests with information regarding the Bar and the hotelAnswer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests/questionsLiaise with F&B team for special events and occasionsWhat We're Looking For
You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
Valid work permit for full time role (40 hours/week). Fluent in English and Italian, both verbal and written. Understanding of luxury hospitality F&B operationsExperience in the same role in Bar/fine dining restaurants would be an advantageA warm, people-oriented demeanorA team-player attitudePositive outlook and dependabilityExplore our very big world
