The incumbent mixes and serves a variety of alcoholic drinks.

Responsibilities include assisting customers by discussing available beverages, occasionally mixing special drinks according to customer direction, and serving soft drinks, sandwiches, and snack items.

The incumbent may also prepare items such as sandwiches and appetizers, prepare fruit or decorations for drinks, collect money for beverages or items sold, and make change while operating the cash register.

Additional duties include cleaning, collecting glasses, and wiping down tables, as well as assisting in setting up and breaking down tables before and after events.

Specific tasks include checking inventory of liquor, beer, wines, and other items; requisitioning items needed for the complete operation of the bar; receiving and checking incoming merchandise; placing items in proper storage areas; cleaning bar equipment and service area; ensuring the area is clean, sanitary, and free of hazards; and securing the bar at closing time.

The incumbent may also direct waiters and bar service workers and answer questions from patrons concerning scheduled entertainment, club activities, and services available.

NOTE: The incumbent frequently handles objects weighing 5 to 40 pounds.

Tour of duty is 20 hours per week, as follows:

-1st position: Mon OFF, Tue, Wed, Thu, and Fri 1600-2100, Sat and Sun OFF.

-2nd position: Mon OFF, Tue 1600-2100, Wed OFF, Thu 1700-2200, Fri and Sat 2000-0100, Sun OFF.

Applicants must meet the qualification requirements as summarized below:

;ABILITY TO USE AND MAINTAIN TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT;KNOWLEDGE OF MATERIALS;DEXTERITY AND SAFETY. NOTE: The incumbent must be able to read, write, and speak the English language, and possess or be able to obtain prior to entry on duty the "Attestato di formazione HACCP per addetti in attività caratterizzate dalla manipolazione degli alimenti".
