It scores just as highly when it comes to location. It's perched on top of an 80-meter cliff, with spectacular views of the Amalfi coast. But it's also only 5 minutes' walk from Amalfi's harbor and town center.

Completely renovated in 2023, almost all of our 52 rooms look directly out to sea. The hotel has 2 first-class restaurants: the main restaurant, Dei Cappuccini, serves an Italian and Mediterranean inspired menu made up of gourmet dishes and The La Locanda della Canonica - Pizzeria by Gino the perfect choice for an informal lunch in a suggestive setting, enjoying tasting pizzas created by the famous, Neapolitan, pizza-master Gino Sorbillo. There is also an infinity outdoor pool, a free panoramic gym and a SPA.

Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel, for 2025 season, is looking for a new Barman/barlady to join the team.

**Job description

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic cocktails and original creations, according to the hotel's standards.

- Ensure the bar is always tidy, well-stocked, and compliant with safety and hygiene regulations.

- Deliver excellent service by anticipating guest needs and creating a personalized experience for each customer.

- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless integration of bar service with overall dining and guest experience.

- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, recommending beverages and pairings to enhance guests' dining experiences.

- Manage the bar's cash register, handling payments and daily accounting with precision.

- Assist the Bar Manager in developing the cocktail menu and planning special promotions.

- Adhere to all licensing laws, health, and safety regulations, ensuring that the bar operates in compliance with local laws.

- Maintain a professional demeanor and immaculate presentation at all times, upholding the hotel's high standards.

**Qualifiche** Qualifications**:

**Education**:

- Hospitality school diploma or equivalent qualifications in food and beverage services.

- Professional bartending or mixology certification is a plus.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Barman/barlady in luxury hotels, renowned bars, or high-end restaurants.

- In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and cocktails, with proven expertise in creating and presenting drinks.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Excellent mixing and cocktail creation skills, with a strong knowledge of bartending techniques and current trends.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with a diverse, international clientele.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously without compromising service quality.

- Good organizational skills to ensure efficient bar operations.

- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations.

- Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
