Barman - The Gritti Palace, Venice - Season 2025
Description The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Barman.
The Barman will report to the Bar Manager and she/he will join a team of bartendering passionate professionals.
Seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week, 5 working days, 2 consecutive days off).
Period: April – October 2025

You take pride in offering our guests a diverse and seasonally-inspired beverage menu, a warm conversation, and helpful suggestions.
What you'll do Welcome guests & attend to tables and at the barPrepare cocktails as per recipes and serve wine/champagne and non-alcoholic drinksPrepare garnishes and appetizersStock ice, glassware and paper suppliesSet up and maintain cleanliness of bar areaProcess all payment methods and complete cashier reportsFollow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelinesWhat we're looking for Great storytelling skills in EnglishPrevious bartending experience in luxury contexts is a big plusReliability, motivation, positive outlook and outgoing personalityStrong passion for luxury bartenderingThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
