Battery Project Leader

Our client is an **important International Group** - focus on innovation to design gardening equipment for more than 90 years, all over the world.
They are looking for a **BATTERY PROJECT LEADER** who will report report to Electronic Technology Leader (Electrical R&D division) and will be in charge of:
- **Lead the Battery Pack** development
- Lead the architecture of system and **BMS**:
- **Lead electronic development** of functional and safety subsystems
- Lead the validation and test planning
- Lead the Battery construction and production
- Contribute actively to the fulfillment of the project targets, in terms of product performances, quality and timing
KEY RESPONSABILITY
- Review / Develop Hardware and Firmware of BMS (**Battery Management System**)
- Assess HW and FW system requirements and design
- Collaborate with development partners and contract manufacturers (domestically and worldwide)
- Ability to work efficiently with suppliers and to support technical gate reviews processes
- Ensure that the definition, storage and revision of technical specifications area managed and released in timely and proper manner
- Manage the certification process
- Manage the test and validation process
SKILLS
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge electronic CAD design software
- Project document management (PDM - PLM)
- Good knowledge of Office packages in particular for what concerns the use of spreadsheets and word processing
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
EXPERIENCE
- At least 2-3 years' experience in embedded systems
- Experience in electronics hardware and firmware design
- Wiring harness design to transmit signals or power
- Ability to plan and estimate development tasks (ideally within an Agile framework)
- Experience in project timing management
