If you are looking for a new challenging project and would like to be part of one of the world's most advanced automotive technology groups, send us your CV Key Responsibilities Lead the technical development of battery projects with customers around the world. Design battery pack system architecture. Calculate/design electrical and mechanical HV switch-off devices, HV conductors (including HV connection technology), BusBar. Develop sub-component fusing strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, specifications, and performance targets. Design and develop battery systems or sub-systems, ensuring functional, safe, and compliant solutions. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technologies, materials, and components for battery systems. Collaborate with suppliers and partners to select and qualify battery components and subsystems. Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress. Key Qualifications/Requirements Technical education in Electric/Electronic Engineering or similar. Minimum 2-3 years as a System/Architect Engineer within the automotive industry; previous experience in HV battery development is a strong plus. Understanding of circuit design (both digital and analog), embedded circuits (SoCs, etc. ), and power electronics. Experience in vehicle wiring and harnessing. Understanding of Systems/Requirement Engineering & Tools (e. g. IBM DOORS, MicroFocus ALM). Experience with 3D CAD (CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX) is a plus. Communicative, team-oriented, and assertive personality. Knowledge of the vehicle development process. Fluent in Italian and very good English knowledge. Availability for occasional business trips.
