Job Description Summary: We're expanding our EMEA Benefits Team, and this new role will be an important addition to help with benefits delivery (for some EMEA countries) and benefits financial management (for EMEA overall) to influence the future of our strategic benefit spend.
For this role, we are looking for a benefits professional with a proven experience in benefits design and delivery, benefits program management, financial acumen, can be flexible and navigate multiple priorities, is well organized, and can engage with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
Partnering with regional stakeholders, this role manages the full scope of country benefits programs, driving the strategy for programs including health, retirement, life, accident, disability, wellness, and ancillary programs.
**Job Description**:
This role will report to the EMEA Benefits Leader, helping to establish a regional benefits team and strategy that aligns our employee benefits with our values while supporting the company's strategic direction in the region.
Role can be based in UK, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden or Spain.
**Benefits Program Manager (M/F/d)**:
**Key responsibilities - Country Benefits Delivery**:
- Manage day to day administration and compliance of programs, through management of internal and vendor partner relationships.
Engage as a strategic partner to the business and HR stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and carriers, including monitoring of cost, service levels, processes, and accuracy of data.
Lead negotiations and renewals with providers including governance, contract compliance, issues management, communications frequency, schedule, and approach.
- Understand current and emerging market trends, identify potential opportunities and gaps, leverage external best practices and design benefit initiatives that are aligned to our global principles and corporate values, yet provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural and market differences.
- Review and analyze benefits trends and advise management on the state of benefits for the countries in scope, demonstrating an understanding of the market dynamics, key competitor benefit plan design, and industry trends.
Partner with the compensation counterparts to ensure there is a comprehensive understanding of the competitive position of all Compensation and Benefits programs for the countries.
- Ensure benefit program proposals balance PayPal values alignment, affordability and competitiveness, business objectives, and meet all legal requirements.
Partner with internal stakeholder and external consultants to ensure benefits and wellness offerings are relevant, flexible, cost-effective, and competitive with local practices and aligned with business and talent strategies.
**Key responsibilities - EMEA Benefits Financial Management**:
Create an improved benefit team approach to manage and support our Purchase Orders, invoice tracking and invoice issue resolution (with Procurement, Accounts Payable and Vendor Management teams).
- Create Purchase Orders (PO), monitor approval status and maintain PO balance reports in partnership with the members of the regional benefits team.
- Assist with payment and funding options for new or renewed programs and benefits.
- Collaborate with benefits team members and Procurement on the process to manage and plan for benefit contract implementation, renewals and financial system set ups.
- Support Merger and Acquisition due diligence and company integrations (from benefits spend perspective)
- Support plan audits and plan reconciliations with financial insights and data
- Lead optimization in how we manage, track, and report our benefits spend in each country (including creating benefits spend dashboard)
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal contacts such as Payroll, Finance, and all other HR and extended teams, to facilitate collaboration across teams on financial matters.
- Develop benefits spend dashboard, that is updated timely and shared with stakeholders
**Education and Experience Required**:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or other related areas or equivalent preferred.
- Solid benefits delivery experience in a complex, fast-paced, large global public company environment or equivalent.
- Experience managing ambiguity and risk (taking the unknown into action).
- Demonstrated business and HR acumen.
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills.
