Production manager is responsible for the Safety of all production personnel and for the safe execution of manufacturing activities.

Responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of production staff and processes.

Ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently according to the site plans according to the product quality requirements.

Meet assigned KPI, keep and record production performances.

Secure material usage according to the guidelines and punt in place actions to minimize waste and scrap.

Define people time sheet schedule and support training development plan to assure operator skills balanced in each crew.

Lead directly the assigned Production Shift Leaders.

**Safety

- Responsible that all shop floor operators perform any & all tasks in a Safe manner, keeping in mind safety as main priority on the job at all times.

- Lead Safety by example and promote Safety initiatives, supported by EH&S Function.

- According and supported by HR & EH&S function secure shop floor operators availability for mandatory training activities.

**People

- Sponsor production personal training program to implement a flex crew system to optimize workload and secure production plan execution.

- Lead through a process based culture and promote consistent operations through the creation, availability and optimization of SOP's oriented to maximize utilization of the resources in all aspects of the operation.

**Performance and Quality requirements

- Secure execution of production schedule cooperating with Planning department to secure orders completion on time

- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Engineering department the finished goods attributes optimization and processing conditions, ensuring that products consistently meets customers' specifications and internal standard.

- Responsible for the measurement of product properties, execution and recording limited to the function duties.

**Material & Sustainability

- Manage and secure physical material registration and alignment within the ERP system, linked to the production processes.

- Lead material waste reduction according to the Berry Waste is gold approach.

**Equipment & Reliability

- Responsible for production activities and manufacturing equipment reliability.

- Coordinate all production aspects using Lean manufacturing & Six Sigma principles.

- Coordinate with the Maintenance Function to secure the most fundamental maintenance routines and actively supporting the periodical Preventive Maintenance of the lines.

**Performances & Improvements

- Manage resource to reach department budget converting costs and manufacturing KPI's.

- Support implementation and develop of Manufacturing Execution System, like PDA 4. 0, to monitor, record and control process parameters and performances.

- Adopt best world class manufacturing practices and disciplines like 5S, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen to consistently meet and exceed performance expectations.

- Support Engineering Department to identify and implement manufacturing improvements initiatives adopting DMAIC methodologies.

- Identify and promote opportunity for further automatization and converting cost reduction initiatives.
