On behalf of a leading company specialized in producing energy from renewable resources, we are looking for:

**BESS Strategy Support

Within the global O&M function, in an international context, the Company looking for a person with Engineering background, with strong knowledge of power generation facility operation and maintenance, who can contribute to the growth of the Battery Energy Storage System business.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Support Business Development and Engineering & Construction in the due diligence process, for the O&M Opex, Capex, production and availability estimation during project development, including repowering opportunities;

- Support during project execution phase the resolution of any O&M related issue up to handover of new plants;

- Ensure the availability of reference technical specifications for global O&M contracts, liaising with internal stakeholder: O&M Systems governance, logistics, contract management and procurement;

- Foster the identification of new solutions among Countries;

- Identify contracts and purchase requests which can be standardized and optimized, improving the relationship with main suppliers and strategic partners;

- Define and optimize operation and maintenance strategies, processes and spare parts levels;

- Act as reference for global O&M Technology Line for the resolution of relevant strategic issues.

**Requirements**:

- Engineering Degree;

- Minimum of 2 years of related experience with strong knowledge of power generation facility operation and maintenance;

- Focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems, and knowledge of applicable regulations will be considered a plus;

- Good knowledge of electricity market rules;

- Good knowledge of financing and budgeting;

- Good knowledge of Procurement processes and Contract Management;

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Power BI knowledge a plus), SAP and SAP PM a plus;

- Strong initiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvement;

- Excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills;

- Ability to work independently;

- Fluent in English and Italian.
