You are passionate about data and interested to see how Business Intelligence (BI) solutions are used in digital transaction environments such as tax free shopping business? - If you are a business-oriented person with curiosity for data and sharp attention to details, then we are looking for someone just like you to join our Data & Business Intelligence team and help us with implementing Global Blue Data Governance policies which will protect Global Blue Valuable asset while enabling efficient innovation long term- Reporting to the BI Corporate reporting Manager, you will be participating to the corporate Data Governance policies and the activation of it across mainly 3 vectors: Data security & Access, Data definition and data Quality. -

- Justification- Justification- Data is a key differentiator for Global Blue proposition, and accordingly, it should be treated as a core asset.

With the creation of the position of a data steward, we are creating a role with the accountability to bring to life data giverance principles within BI ecosystemMain duties and responsibilities

- Participate to the elaboration of the Corporate data Governance policies

- Define the process relative to data security and collaborate with Operations to implement them across the organization

- Lead primary analysis with BI Corporate reporting Manager when business needs thrive for the articulation of new KPI

- Formalize the definition of new KPI and engage with operation Data source owner to align the data definition, logic and hosting for the new dimension

- Be accountable for Corporate KPI reporting scorecard update and amendments

- Lead the roll out of Corporate Data definition and dictionary

- Be the champion of data quality audit and be the go to person for data availability across productive platforms

Background and Education

Education and Experience

- BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years in product management or consulting in the data world with extensive hands on experience across multiple BI platforms, databases and reporting technologies including but not limited to:

- Enterprise Databases, ETL, DWH

- Data Analytics and Business reporting

- BI Reporting tools: MicroStrategy and Tableau preferred

- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling / mapping, methodology development and data modelling

- Experience working as Data Steward or as a key representative of Corporate Data Governance committee is a plus

- Experience in successfully collaborating with operational teams to implement long lasting process and procedures

- Ability to collect, analyse, translate and break down complex matters and business requirements into technical specifications and actionable items in a clear and concise manner

- Ability to connect directly with Business counterparts (commercial, Finance, other product functions) to understand business needs and operational context

- Excellent command of English with ability to efficiently interface with stakeholders across the company

- Experience in working with dislocated teams in a global, multicultural environment

- Experience in handling demanding stakeholders from different technical/business areas and tight timelines

- You have sharp attention to details and a well-structured working style

- You have a strong curiosity to find out how products and systems work and are inquisitive and proactive

- You have a strong curiosity to connect the data ecosystem to the business reality to identify optimal way for your work to support business partner work
