Billing Assistant
For our office based in Milan, we are looking for a Billing Assistant who will provide support to our Finance Department.
The Billing Assistant is responsible for the completion of all facets of the billing function. Responsibilities include working with the Billing Manager and assigned partners to proactively administer their billing requests, preparation and processing of timely and high-quality invoices, and monitoring and follow-up on outstanding receivables.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the full billing cycle for specific assigned partners.
- Assume the responsibility of issuing timely and accurate invoices and e-invoices.
- Provide solutions to any invoicing-related problems.
- Check and update customer master data.
- Process cash receipts and monitor payments.
- Write thorough reports on billing activity for clients or partners with clear and reliable data.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as Billing Specialist within a law firm.
- Adherence to laws, VAT and best practices in regards to invoicing and payment collection.
- Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Proficiency in English.
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
