The Jacobs office in** Italy **is currently looking for:

**BIM SPECIALIST

**Primary Job Responsibilities

BIM Specialist will have responsibility to:

- Support BIM Manager during the activities of BIM implementation in Our Offices

- Provide support and focused training on specific tasks to enhance staff members' knowledge and expertise of the standardized software used

- Responsible of creation and update of standard libraries

- Produce families and contents in compliance with the internal quality procedures, the BEP and the LOI and LOG of 3D model

- Support in organization of BIM modeling tasks and definition of effort and time needed

- Develop Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive tasks under the guide of the BIM Manager

- Support the BIM Coordinator during BIM coordination meeting (internal and external)

- Provide all other Engineering & Design support tasks to the Design Team including but not limited to: processing shop drawing and schedules, comments and computer-aided drafting & design

This position reports directly to Operations BIM Manager.

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- Engineering/Architectural/MEP background

- +2 years of experience in BIM and design for construction

- +1 years of experience as BIM Specialist

- Knowledge of BIM processes regarding content creation and information extraction from the models

- Strong working knowledge of Revit is required

- Good working knowledge of Navisworks is required

- Dynamo and/or scripting knowledge is required

- Specific suite knowledge for P&ID and piping/I&C 3d model management (Autodesk Plant3D, Aveva E3D, Hexagon SmartPlant) would be an asset

**Other requirements

- Fluent English language knowledge is a must

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with individuals (co-workers, clients, etc) at all levels

- High level of Safety Awareness
