We are looking for a BIM Specialist to join our fast-growing team to be involved in design and construction processes for plant engineering disciplines.

The candidate's main task will be to optimally develop the plant projects that will be assigned to him/her and related BIM activities. Experience in plant modeling and understanding of technical drawings is required. Working alongside and coordinating with plant designers and other disciplines involved will also be required.

Within the work team that he/she will join, he/she will be able to: Demonstrate expertise in plant modeling and immediate reading of technical drawingsWork as part of a team to provide concrete input to a variety of projectsBuild comprehensive information models, extract appropriate results, and draw conclusionsCoordinate with engineers in other business areas and disciplines involvedAttend and contribute to project meetings (internal and external)Main activities Realization of BIM models according to internal and client standards and requirementsExtract and process project data from model in an organized mannerManage input information from clientSet up and extract graphic designs from modelKey Responsibilities As a key member of the design team, the BIM Specialist plays a crucial role in the creation of the discipline's models by acting in support of the BIM Coordinator and the rest of the team. The digital creation of MEP models and modeling of project information from bid phase to project closeoutDevelop sizing and calculation of MEP systems within the BIM environment following design criteria prepared by Senior DesignersCollaborate with Senior Designers in design development and with the BIM Coordinator in developing the BIM processDevelop information modeling following company BIM standards and project BIM requirements provided by the BIM CoordinatorInterpret schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aidsCreate and organize drawings from BIM models, including developing plans, sections, and detailsWork to resolve conflicts with other disciplinesDevelop and maintain excellent team relationshipsQualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related subject with a grade of not less than 100/110Essential skills At least 2 years of work experience in the plant engineering industryAt least 2 years of experience in BIM MEP modeling activitiesAbility to read plant engineering drawings immediatelyExcellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM authoring softwareAbility to understand BIM processes and key documentation toolsAbility to understand and use technical and operational documentation to produce drawings and modelsWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packageWorking knowledge of the English languagePropensity to work in a team environmentAbility to independently manage responsibilities and propensity for coordinationSoft Skills Curiosity and willingness to learn and challenge oneselfAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to self-manage and coordinate with other team membersMotivation and desire to learn and take on new challengesDesire to explore digital technologies and innovations to streamline design and implementation processesDesire to engage knowledge and contribute to the growth of othersCritical and strategic thinking, team building skills, and aptitude for problem solvingCertifications Habilitation in the profession (optional but recommended)BIM Specialist certification (optional)Software Certification (optional)Languages Software Autodesk RevitAutodesk AutocadAutodesk Navisworks (optional)Computation software (primus, primus ifc, cpm)Office package (at least xls, word, power point)Use of CDE platforms (e. g. , BIM 360, docs and BIM 360 design collaboration)
