Main TasksThe Selected candidate will join the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Operation Unit within the Environmental Engineering department of RINA Consulting. They will:

be in charge of developing environmental studies, biodiversity baseline (including surveys) and mapping, biodiversity and critical habitat assessment, biodiversity action plans, biodiversity due diligence against national and international laws and standards.

organise and attend missions and site survey both in Italy and abroad, both onshore and offshore and write relevant subsequent field reports.

prepare technical and financial proposal involving both internal personnel and external consultants.

be responsible of his/her own support and he/she could be as well responsible to lead teams for selected projects or tasks Experience and Requirements Master Degree (Laurea Magistrale) inEnvironmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Biology or equivalent.

At least 5 year ofexperience in Environmental, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Consultancy Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages - in particular French - is considered as a plus) Familiarity with IFIs Standards (in particular PR/PS6) Familiarity with sustainability goals and ESG Availability and familiarity with site surveys (both onshore and offshore) preparation and attendance Availability for medium-long term mission in Italy and abroad.

Proven experience in GIS tools application usage.
