BLACKSHAPE SPA, world leader in the design and manufacture of General Aviation aircraft and aircraft systems for commercial and general Aviation, is currently looking to recruit a **Configuration Control Specialist **to join the airworthiness team in the engineering department in the headquarter site in Monopoli (Bari - Italy).

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Being the responsible for actively managing engineering design data throughout a product's lifecyle in accordance with program requirements

- Evaluate/implement Design & Bill of Material changes & coordinate the introduction of the change within engineering and manufacturing environment

- Coordinate the Configuration Control Board (CCB)

- Coordinate the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) for general project data to maintain control, discipline and common frameworks across projects

- Lead dedicated PLM initiatives

- Support the engineering team in CAD data management (standard part library, etc)

- Support the preparation of the certification documents, illustrated parts catalogue related to various aircraft systems and components and manuals

- Support the method and tools for transfer of technical data to third parties, including engineering services providers and external suppliers, whilst recognizing export control requirements

- Coordinate classification of changes including impact on disciplines and weight and balance

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- University Degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to aeronautics field and 5 years of experience in tasks related to the concerned discipline in industrial context

- Good knowledge of CAD tool.

Catia or NX Siemens are preferred

- Strong understanding of the use of the configuration software Teamcenter-PLM

- Knowledge of aircraft manuals generating tools and standards

- Team-work skills

- Effective problem identification and solution skills

- Ability to use MS Office and IT tools

- Good knowledge of Italian and English - C1 (spoken and written)

- Working knowledge of BOM structures and change management

- Ability to learn quickly and deal with a changing environment

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Familiar with airworthiness code (CS-VLA and/or CS/FAR-23 and interpretative materials, GM and AMC)

- Knowledge of digital transformation processes and platforms (ERP)

- Proven experience in aeronautical industry

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
