**Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking - M&A Advisory Italy

Our role is to assist corporate clients and financial sponsors in achieving their external growth strategies by providing advice on mergers, acquisitions, asset disposals and listings.

We are a team of over 400 professionals all over the world (EMEA, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, ) combining diverse talents, background and experience.

The Italian team has been experiencing strong growth over the years, becoming one the leading players in the M&A arena.

In this context, the team is looking to expand its junior base across all the seniority levels from Analyst to Vice President.

**Primary Responsibilities

As full time Vice President of M&A Advisory Italy, you will have the chance to work in a well structured team, being a key contributor and driver of all the activities associated to the marketing and execution of M&A mandates - including preparation of marketing material, company valuations, financial modelling and deal execution.

You will work and coordinate the activities performed by more junior resources (notably Analysts and Associates), while having daily interactions with senior bankers and strategic clients of the Bank.

**What we expect from you

- Education: Master degree in Economics, Business Administration or Finance; Master degree in Management Engineering (Specialization in Finance)

- Behavioral skills: Ethical standards, teamwork and analytical approach; proactivity and problem solving attitude; ambition/learning curve and strong desire for achievement; responsiveness; communication skills; organization skills.

- Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken); excellent knowledge of accounting and financial techniques; financial modelling & valuation analysis; presentation skills.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the M&A product and track record of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.

At least 6 years experience in top-tier Investment Banking (preferably within M&A advisory) or Private Equity.
