I am seeking an experiencedcookbook designerto create a visually compelling and user-friendly layout for a forthcoming title.

The ideal candidate has a strong background incookbook and editorial design, expertise inInDesign, and experience withtypesetting, layout, and print production. Key Responsibilities: •  Develop multiplesample layoutsfor the cookbook, incorporating text, photography, and design elements.

•  Collaborate with the author to refine and finalize the selected layout.

•  Flow thefinal manuscript (Word document) into the InDesign file, ensuring proper formatting and styling.

•  Conducttwo rounds of revisions,  based on the author's feedback, making necessary adjustments to layout, text, typography, and spacing.

•  Prepare the final InDesign file forprint production, ensuring compliance with printer specifications.

•  Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high design standards. Required Skills Experience: •  Proven experience incookbook design and layout.

•  Expertise inAdobe InDesign.

•  Strongtypographic and typesetting skills, with an understanding of how to balance text and imagery in a cookbook format.

•  Knowledge ofprint production processesand file preparation for printing.

•  Ability to work collaboratively and respond constructively to feedback.

•  Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: •  Previous experience designingcookbooks, food magazines, or recipe-driven publications.

•  Familiarity withprinting specifications for high-quality food photography.
