I am seeking an experiencedcookbook designerto create a visually compelling and user-friendly layout for a forthcoming title.

The ideal candidate has a strong background incookbook and editorial design, expertise inInDesign, and experience withtypesetting, layout, and print production. Key Responsibilities: - Develop multiplesample layoutsfor the cookbook, incorporating text, photography, and design elements.

- Collaborate with the author to refine and finalize the selected layout.

- Flow thefinal manuscript (Word document) into the InDesign file, ensuring proper formatting and styling.

- Conducttwo rounds of revisions, based on the author's feedback, making necessary adjustments to layout, text, typography, and spacing.

- Prepare the final InDesign file forprint production, ensuring compliance with printer specifications.

- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high design standards. Required Skills & Experience: - Proven experience incookbook design and layout.

- Expertise inAdobe InDesign.

- Strongtypographic and typesetting skills, with an understanding of how to balance text and imagery in a cookbook format.

- Knowledge ofprint production processesand file preparation for printing.

- Ability to work collaboratively and respond constructively to feedback.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience designingcookbooks, food magazines, or recipe-driven publications.

- Familiarity withprinting specifications for high-quality food photography.
