Bowling Facility Maintenance Worker Na-03
Duties Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling alley machinery and performs periodic preventive maintenance on automatic handling equipment. Cleans and conditions bowling lanes and return racks; maintains proper stock levels of spare parts and pins for automatic pin setter and mechanical equipment; and assists with general maintenance and cleaning of bowling facilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Mission Soggiorno Official No-Fee Passport and Mission VISA Citizenship eligible under country SOFA Agreement Duty hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Rotating Schedule. Responsibility: Routine duties are performed independently. Problems are referred to the supervisor. Physical Effort: Stands, walks, bends, and lifts light and medium weight items. Working Conditions: Works indoors in adequately heated and lighted facility. Exposed to noise, dust, dirt and paint fumes. Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2. Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift light and medium weight items. Qualifications
No prior training or work experience required.
Applicant must:
1. Be able to understand and follow written instructions.
2. Have ability to handle tools and equipment used.
3. Be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
4. Be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions.
Skill and Knowledge:
Ability to operate cleaning equipment used.
Ability to understand and follow work instructions.

A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
