Brand & Communication Manager Ita/Spa
In this role whilst being based out of Milan, you will be responsible to create value for the La Prairie House in the Italy & Spain HUB by building long-term brand equity with clients and customers, whilst creating below-the-line activities to support the Sales and Retail teams to reach short-term financial targets.
Will initiate, recommend and execute the marketing and communications plan, adhering to Global strategy guidelines and ensuring brand objectives are achieved.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the strategic development of annual Marketing and Communication plans in accordance with brand, sales and financial targets and in line with Global and Regional strategies and guidelines.
- Set and agree brand objectives with other Marketing Team members (CRM Manager, Store Design & Visual Merchandising Manager and PR & Communications Manager) as well as Sales, Retail and Education teams.
- Develop strong activity plans to be executed hand in hand with all internal and post-evaluated against target KPIs.
- Responsible for all marketing and communication activities both online and offline from objectives setting to creative development whenever required to implementation and post-evaluation.
Including and not limited to the rollout of global innovations, development of e-retail, in-store client events, brand-owned events, brand to brand partnerships, influence etc.
- Full P&L management with direct responsibility of budget for both markets.
- Act as La Prairie brand ambassador at all manner of events.
- Establish and maintain good working relationship with Region and Global teams.
- To regularly spend time in the trade and keep up to date with competitor activity across the marketing mix.
- Oversee POS orders and usage including regular strategic review of inventory of saleable items, testers and all samples.
- Agree shipment forecasts with Demand Planning.
- To fulfil in due course all reporting requirements for local and regional/global needs.
Your Profile
- Graduate Degree with marketing or business management
- Experienced in Marketing (min 8 years)
- Experience in and affinity with the Luxury Industry highly appreciated.
- Knowledge of the Beauty and/or Retail industries in the country highly appreciated.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
- Numeric and commercially aware.
- Communicative, proactive team-player with high level of reliability and integrity, good at building relationships.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.
