Brand & Communications Marketing Internship
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP Launchmetrics, the leading Brand Performance Cloud in the Fashion, Luxury and Beauty (FLB) industry, known for its comprehensive and insightful data reports, is hiring a Brand & Communications Intern to join their global Brand & Communications team. Thanks to Launchmetrics' proprietary Media Impact Value algorithm and Voice-centric approach, industry sources are able to better understand the current business landscape and extract prescriptive insights that help professionals make data-led decisions to reach today's modern consumer.
The Brand & Communications Intern will have the mission to propose, respond to and deliver data briefs on a wide range of questions and pop-culture, related to FLB topics. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, curious and resourceful individual who is passionate about the industry looking to start a career within data/analytics. Combining their industry knowledge with an interest in data and media intelligence, the Brand & Communications Intern will be a trusted partner of our Brand & Communications team and provide data-driven insights for top tier media.
This role would suit a student looking for work alongside their studies as part of their degree (internship credit).
Start date: ASAP for 6 months.
What you'll do: Understand industry events, marketing and communication strategies to precisely scope inbound requestsBuild detailed and tailor-made analysis plans for each inquiryPresent complex data and analytical findings to non-technical audiencesIdentify trends and patterns in datasetsCraft insightful and attractive reports for the press with the goal to answer real business questionsContribute to building loyalty with key outletsActively identify and research potential "hot topics" to pitch to the pressDefine and build marketing content that will highlight Launchmetrics data expertise, foster awareness and strengthen industry leadershipDevelop a relationship of trust with multiple stakeholders and titlesSupport the B&C team on varied projects: content, reports, events, etc. Be an evangelist of Launchmetrics unique measurement methodologyABOUT YOU Previous internship experience in the FLB industry and/or data monitoring & analysisPassion for social media; knowledge of social media listening platforms is a plusInformed about data visualization and FLB industry reportsAbility to deliver thorough, quality results within tight deadlinesAbility to engage with a wide variety of team members at different levelsDemonstrate an ability to cope with a complex and changing environment while projecting a positive attitudeFast learner, problem solver and with a curious mindsetStrong strategic thinking skills and business acumenStrong project management skillsStrong Excel and Google suite skills requiredEnglish native or excellent written skills; enjoys copywritingWe value diverse perspectives and recognize that skills and experiences can be gained in various ways.
