Brand Financial & Commercial Controller
Job Mission The person, who will report hierarchically to the Brand Controlling Manager and functionally to Davines Brand General Manager, will be responsible mainly for: Providing management with accurate and reliable financial information and analysis to identify actions to grow business profitability as well as improving operation costs management and allocation; Being a key finance business partner to the management team, marketing and sales teams and other key business functions.
In conjunction with the Consolidation and Reporting Manager, establish financial and operating KPIs, budgets monitoring, and reporting standards with specific reporting timeline basis.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Closing, Planning and analysis: Monthly Closing; Perform analytical business reviews; Budget, Forecast, Preclosing planning; Perform financial projections and analysis to provide timely, accurate and relevant information for insightful decision making for Brand General Manager; Ensure all Business aspects are properly controlled, and targets met cooperating with the Brand Business Unit Managers and Brand GM; Maintain strict control of all Operating Expenses and maximize return on investment of marketing investments; Challenge all the lines of the P&L with a business vision/approach showing solutions and leadership where required; Develop product, channel and category Profit & Loss to be used as a basis for business decisions; Produce Reporting and analytics to drive investment decisions and to identify and discuss budgets risks and opportunities; Prepare Brand management reporting for Brand Management and Commercial teams and supporting them for specific presentations); Business optimization: Evaluate commercial, operational and financial impacts of business decisions; Provide financial support to the area managers in the contracts management with partners; Support Brand GM in the continuous process of market, competitor and account analysis to identify key issues and to propose appropriate recommendations.
This means a further and specific support to detailed tracking and reporting of sales and pricing by market in conjunction with the brand teams: liaise to support initiatives to drive sales and profitability Special projects: support finance team and Brand Directors with special projects.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES Strong economic background; 3/4 years of experience in controlling/accounting auditing.
Master's degree in Economics, Business Economics or Engineering.
Ability in IT and ERP systems, BO, Power BI, X3, Excel.
