Brand Manager - Rheumatology
Purpose Statement**:
- The Brand Manager, who will join the Rheumatology Marketing Team, will lead the comprehension of patient experience insights within the Brand and In Field Team and will have a pivotal role in the development of the marketing strategy and the functional plan, with a specific focus on the Patient Journey to deliver a patient-centric strategies, in line with AbbVie culture, business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate to the definition of Strategic Brand Plan, Long Range Plan and Functional Plan.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities and multi-stakeholder initiatives to meet strategic brand objectives.
- Develop a robust customer engagement plan by implementing promotional and non-promotional materials with a multichannel approach.
- Ensure all projects, tactics and communication materials are aligned with global and local strategy to drive the momentum and reach brand objectives.
- Ensure all functional promo and non-promo materials are delivered in line with a predefined timeline and with local guidelines.
- Proven experience in the management of national projects and congresses.
- Be the reference point for the Sales Force concerning the Brand communication strategy.
Proactively collaborate with all the supporting functions such as regulatory affairs, legal, medical, market access, public affairs, customer excellence and finance.
- Collaborate with Brand Team and In-Field Team members, facilitate cross-stakeholder discussions with Health Care Professional and synthesize the insights gained to update target segments and brand positioning.
- Establish and analyze KPIs to monitor all marketing activities for the achievement of brand plan objectives.

- Plan and monitor promotional budget expenses to optimize effectiveness and efficiency and guarantee P&L margin.
**Basic**:
- Bachelor's degree (Scientific or Economic)
- Relevant experience with proven track record of success in marketing within biotech/pharmaceutical industry (at least 2 years)
- Innovative Approach
- Ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions
- Knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape
- Knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital
- Excellent communication skills to interact and support Brand Team and Sales Team
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft office programs (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Basic knowledge of finance principles and P&L management
- English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries).
- Willingness to travel as required
**Preferred**:
- Knowledge of Immunology/Rheumatology market
- Sales track record of success within biotech/pharmaceutical or any other industry

External: Patients, Health Care Professionals, Key Opinion Leaders and external partners
