Broking Strategy & Execution Executive
The role
Work with the Regional Head of Broking, Core Broking team and Heads of Broking to set, coordinate and execute strategy across WTW's Lines of Business and Geographies.
**Responsibilities
- Strategy formulation: Facilitates collaborative process, ensuring well-articulated and prioritised roadmap and set of medium and long-term goals
- Drafts strategy papers and presentations for key internal and external stakeholders
- Keeps informed of market developments and potential disruptions and revises strategy as appropriate
- Contributes to strategy formulation and ensures variations across the Lines of Business (LoB) and Geographies are embedded into planning, e. g.
progress against the Broking Scorecard objectives
- Management of key regional and global stakeholders; ensure relationships are established and they buy-in, contribute and support delivery of broking change
- Planning and Execution: Focuses on plans to implement the strategy.
- Works closely with Country Heads of Broking to understands the internal culture and capabilities of each country in Europe and to develop/execute regional Broking strategies
- Works with senior management to identify what each LoB and Geography needs to do to make the strategy work.
- Coordination of interconnected initiatives / workstreams ensuring that they are working to common Broking objectives and dependencies are managed, e. g.
Broking Platform / Quality Index / Transformation
- Lead, design, implement and manage specific projects to shape and deliver strategic objectives, e. g.
Commission Standardisation
- Implement and manage effective governance and be a source of guidance for the Heads of Broking and Core Broking Team
- Governance & Reporting: Develop a framework to track objectives and performance
- Accountable for creating reports to European R&B Leadership (and other stakeholders) and communicate progress to the Broking community
- Presentation of progress vs.plan to European R&B Leadership (and other stakeholders)
- Use of Broking's data and analytics tools for reporting and comms purposes, e. g.
Broking Platform adoption metrics
- Work with Country Head of Broking and Broking Platform Lead to ensure there is appropriate governance and structure in place to drive connectivity and share best practice
- Comms: Plays a key/lead role in the development and execution of the Broking comms strategy
- Collaborates with the country Heads of Broking and Core Broking Team to develop a Regional Broking communications strategy that will deliver effective communications and ensure the Broking strategy is consistently understood and articulated both internally and externally
- Produces strategy content for key stakeholders, e. g.
slides for Carrier Management
- Presentation of the Broking strategy to internal / external stakeholders as required, e. g.
carriers and Carrier management
**The Requirements
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- A proven ability to work cross-functionally to develop joint strategies and to manage significant delivery initiative
- Strong facilitation skills - able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement
- Ability to act as an ambassador for the Company
- High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management
- Strong skills in problem solving, planning and execution
- Project management experience and strong organizational skills
