Business Analyst & Network Planner Intern
We are looking for a person who will join Moleskine as a Business Analyst & Network Planner Intern The position is based in Milan.
Scope of the role The new addition to the Operations Team will report to the Supply Chain & Distribution Manager, supporting him in the preparation of weekly and monthly operational reports while taking over the network planning of one of the company regions in the transition to a new planning and distribution system (from Excel to ToolsGroup Service Optimizer 99+).
Main activities: Weekly Ordered Shipped Reports to monitor Backorder, Fill Rate and Service Level across different Regions, Distribution Channels and Product Life Cycles Monthly Inventory Reporting to map and track, among the others: Global and Regional Inventory Trend at Product Life Cycle level Innovation performance Destocking stock management and evolution and inventory obsolescence tracking Proactive support to institutional reporting preparation Inventory Planning at regional level (1st Level DC fulfilment, 2nd and 3rd level distribution) Distribution reporting activation in support to the execution of a network and service improvement plan Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or business related discipline (e. g.
Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Quantitative Business Analysis) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office package and database applications Proactivity and flexibility, driving sense of urgency Problem solving, analytical skills and able to work with ambiguity Team player but as well able to work independently Fluent English Nice to have: Proficiency in multiple supply chain areas Decision making and ability to set priorities Training Objectives: Identify areas of improvement in terms of stock optimization and service lead time reduction, via numeric KPIs monitoring Take responsibility of a supervised regional network planning using Excel and SO99+ What we will offer: Unique brand to discover Discount on our products Dynamic atmosphere in an international environment Opportunity to influence and became a decision maker Competitive Smart Working Policy Moleskine is an equal opportunity employer.
